Rental of Facilities Information
The halls at Post 13 are available for rental to the general public. Rates are as follows with new pricing below as of January 1st, 2025.
- All halls rent for 5 hours and include a bartender
- Additional hours may be purchased for $100 per hour but may not run past midnight
- A $400 security deposit is required for any hall rental and will be refunded when the room is left in good condition.
- You will receive your security deposit by mail within 7 to 10 business days.
- A payment of 50% of the total fees (hall rental fee + security deposit) is due at the time of contract signing in order to reserve the date.
The Large Hall & The Small Hall
The Large hall (which would include the small hall when rented) rents for $850 and holds up to 200 people.

The Small hall rents for $400 and holds up to 60 people.

The Pavilion
- $500 if rented between April 1 and October 31
- $400 if rented between November 1 and March 31
- The pavilion has a max capacity of 90 people (seating for 41 inside including barstools)
- Outdoor seating includes 2 picnic tables and 3 four person tables. Please be aware that the pavilion has porta potties as there is no running water. Regular facilities are available in the main building in the bar.

Please note there will be no loud music allowed in the Pavilion without a special event permit from Will County. All permits must be applied for on your own 30 days before your event to ensure approval. Fees for the permit are not included in the hall rental. DJ's are subject to decibel limits.
The Small Hall & The Pavilion
- $900 if rented between April 1 and October 31
- $800 if rented between November 1 and March 31
- The rental includes 2 bartenders (when requested).
- It holds approximately 150 people combined

- $1350 if rented between April 1 and October 31
- $1250 between November 1 and March 31
- Includes 2 bartenders and holds up to 320 people combined.

Hours
You may select when your 5 hours will start and end, but the latest block starts at 7pm and ends at midnight (11:00pm for parties in the pavilion). Last call is 30 minutes before the end of the time block. Decorations, tablecloths and garbage must be removed (garbage to be placed in provided cans) and hall must be vacated by the end of the time block.

Hall Rental For Active Members
A member discount is available to active members in good standing for at least 2 years at the signing of the contract. Discount does not apply to member organized fundraisers or any ticketed events. Discount is solely designed for member family events and member must be present during the contract hours. The contract must also be in the members name.
The member discount does not apply to beverages.
Food and Beverages
All beverages including soda and water must be purchased from the Legion.

for total event bar sales under $250, a minimum bartender fee of $50 will be added to the tab OR subtracted from the security deposit if no tab is opened. for bar tabs over $1000 an 18% gratuity will be added to the tab.
Bar set up examples:

- Open bar for beer, wine, soda and water only
- Open bar for well, beer, wine, soda and water only

- Tab set up with credit card
- We do not offer bar packages. We charge by the drink. We can arrange bar offerings tailored for you. For example:
- Pre-pay a set dollar limit and the bartender will notify the customer when your limit has been reached.
- Give a credit card and run a tab. The bartender can notify you when you reach set increments.

Drink prices are as follows:
- Soda, bottled water, and coffee: $1.00
- Bottled juice, lemonade, or OJ: $3.00
- Draft beer: $3.00 - $4.00
- Domestic bottled beer: $3.50
- Import bottled beer: $5.00
- Well drinks: $5.00
- Top shelf/call: $7.00 - $10.00
- All wine (9oz. pour): $6.00
- Seltzers: $5.00
- Specialty cocktails (prices vary): $7.00-$10.00
DUE TO HEALTH DEPARTMENT RULES A LICENSED CATERER MUST PREPARE AND DELIVER ANY & ALL FOOD SERVED
Additional Information
We are sorry but due to facility constraints, craft shows and other sales are prohibited.
Facility rental for fundraisers that involve games of chance for monetary compensation are prohibited.
