What is Poppy Day?
Organized by the American Legion Auxiliary, our volunteers will be distributing handcrafted poppies in exchange for donations, with funds supporting veterans, active-duty service members, and their families.
Symbolism
The red poppy signifies the blood shed during WWI and subsequent conflicts, inspired by the poem "In Flanders Fields".
Purpose
To honor fallen heroes and support veterans, with donations supporting programs like VA hospital visits, rehabilitation, and housing.

Please stop by any of the locations below on Saturday, May 9th to pick up your poppy and leave a donation to help support the future of local veterans.
