K9s for Veterans mission is to help veterans with post traumatic stress disorder transition back to civilian life once their military service has ended with the help of trained service dogs. We are committed to educating the public about the plight of veterans with PTSD and streamlning the process for them to get service dogs, so they get the help they need...Before it's too late.

There are 4 main programs: HMHB was founded in 2009 through NEDSRA, to assist veterans who are injured, visibly or invisibly, through positive health and fitness training and social networking. Since the launch of HMHB, the project has been well received by veterans and their families and is growing nation-wide. SheForce, VETANK and Vet Rec have brought services through health fitness and recreation fostering empowerment and confidence in transition from the military.
